After a very successful Malaysian 24 Hour Comics Challenge 2006, now 2007 challenge is back. Bigger & Greater!!!

Venue: Cineleisure Damansara (same as last year)
Date: 20 & 21 Oct 2007 (the exact date with the US)
Time: 12pm - 12pm the following day (food & drink will be provided)
Participate Fee: Free
Rules: Finish up 24 pages within 24 hours time, original character & story, any styles of art, any medium (except computer) & no age limit.

Kisahnya.. sangat kecoh di TV sekarang perihal tiada lagi peniaga bumiputra di Suria KLCC . Saya tidak kisahkan sangat tentang melayu yang selalu mengharapkan superiority dalam semua hal… , sedangkan tak ramai melayu membudayakan perniagaan sebaliknya lebih suka mencari kerja tetap dan penakut dalam hidup (maknanya, lawan kepada hidup di zon selesa).

Apa yang lebih memberi kenangan kepada aku (setidak-tidaknya)… adalah kerana ramai ahli2 terawal pergh mempunyai kenangan hebat ini di Kelantan Delight KLCC. Tahun 2001 dulu, kami pernah bergathering di Kelantan Delight KLCC dengan kehadiran lebih dari 40 orang. Ada melayu, ada cina, ada kurus, ada gemuk, ada yang kaya dan ada yang miskin (saya pada masa itu miskin - dan sekarang pun tak kaya) dan sebagainya..

Turut hadir pada waktu itu adalah Sdr Aie sebagai VVIP bagi kami… yang dijemput khas oleh brader Sudin , turut disiarkan di majalah Aku dan Sesuatu Isu 10. Lihat gambar dibawah ini…

In conjunction with the Visit Malaysia Year 2007, MSC Malaysia is proud
to announce that we are organizing a creative competition based on the
Cerita Rakyat Malaysia (Malaysian Folklore). The competition will focus
on the character designs of the Cerita Rakyat Malaysia; Mahsuri, Puteri
Santubong, Pak Pandir, Si Luncai and many more.

Being held for the first time, there will be a talk given on the 28th
July 2007 at The Hilton, Kuala Lumpur to elaborate more on what this
competition is about. We’ll be inviting well known personalities such as
Mr. Aripin Said, a veteran writer and researcher about Malaysian
Folklore; Mr. Jaafar Taib, a well known local artist and Mr. Soo Jun
Ning, art director for SALADIN, the animated series.

the making.
