as most of us know, gamecube kat kedai skarang dah dimod utk main original import games(not dvdcopies/pirate games…). base system is japanesenye console. 1 question though….
]ada tak gamecube US version yg dimod ngan cara yang sama(enabling it to play jap games)?
appreciate the help
yup.. GC US pon bleh mod, cara dia lain sket aje. Something bout shorting out one of the resistor and connect to a switch. So kire nak main game Jap… flip the switch. Kalo nak main game US plak… flip again.
thnx anyway redbull for the info. aku dah chk hands on dkt kedai, konon2nye:
kalau jap system yg di bikin(psg switch n something dlm dia), masa on …jap system…gamecube menu text and everything
tapi kalu flip switch and off/on balik, everything terus jadi english!gamecube menu’s and all…
kesimpulannye…us/jap system guna same module + hardware, just sambung some wires je….kan senang kalau semua system camtu, takyah tunggu lama nak tunggu system version continent lain plak…
So brp harga utk gamecube yang dimod ni? Adakah ada game GC yg pirate punya? Just to know…
emmmm..bot the price, i can really confirm yet due to the most recent price cut. before this it was going for 800+ including transformer, GC and controller. no game included and no memory card.
sorry, but amiss the crap u read on teh internet, as of now, there arent any mods to play backups, and there are (of course) no backup games yet. nintendo’s hard to crack u know?….but takpe le….at least you’re more cautious when buying original game, tak just beliiiiiiiii je.
most of their games now are top notch, and kalau nak beli angkat je(kalau cukup duit le..hehe), anyway, it’ll be quite an investment due to forthcoming lineups shown at e3 2002. revamped nintendo franchises (mario, zelda, and METROIDDDDDDDDD!), CAPCOMs RE series, and of course, squaresoft jumping back to the orinal console that brought them where they are today…
bila dah beli ckp….nanti ada geng…hehe
So the price ranges from RM800 la ye? Hmm what about the games? I think I’ll grab it if the price is as u say it is. Where is the best place to buy it? Can u recommend me a shop?
REDMOND, WA — May 20, 2002 Less than one year after successfully launching NINTENDO GAMECUBE™ at a mass-market price, Nintendo of America Inc. is dropping the MSRP to $149.95, effective Tuesday, May 21, 2002. To date, Nintendo has shipped more than 4.5 million systems worldwide and its hit title, Super Smash Bros. ™ Melee, has topped the 2.5 million mark.
Today’s announcement comes as the $27 billion interactive entertainment industry gathers in Los Angeles for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) to preview the latest and greatest games coming out this holiday.
“It’s simple, really: Nintendo is committed to offering our players the best games and the best price,” says Peter MacDougall, executive vice president, sales and marketing, Nintendo of America Inc. “We were the first manufacturer to reach the $199 price level and now we’re leading the industry to $149 allowing even more players around the world to get their hands on our legendary favorites like Mario, Zelda, Star Fox and Metroid this year.”
gamecube….hmmmm….the only problem is, gamecube is like a collector’s item right now(sometimes takde the color u want, no stock for controller, mem card, games ke…). most shops takde stok psal tak brani amik. the only reason is, takut takde org nak beli.
a typical asian would definately go for a modded system which comes with games ranging from 3 bucks to 8 bucks…..biasa leeee
eeemmm…for the gamecube, my bud’s place at sg wang tu boleh orderkan… but if you wanna get to know a shop yg betul2 OTAI psal jual konsole stuff, and brani amik benda2 pelik, go to IMBI-MARIO at imbi plaza, 1st floor. her name’s connie wong. not the cheapest(but still fair price), but anything u want, she can get! …as long as dah klua in the market le…heheh
games….mmm…..somewhere round 220-240, or more…biasa le.. cam ni le. i’m going to sg wang tomorrow, i’ll chk it out dulu, then i’ll post it on the forum.
