Seperti biasa, Laman Seni Kuala Lumpur. Sabtu minggu pertama
setiap bulan. Maaf terlewat pos disini. Sibuk, atau malas mungkin. Saya secara peribadinya amat merasakan laman seni ini kurang pendedahan. Sayang betul, pihak berkaitan seolah-olah kurang mengambil berat tentang dunia seni ‘ini’ di Malaysia ini.
Kurang impak, kurang daya tarikan, kurang macam-macam lagi. Perlu dilakukan sesuatu langkah yang radikal sealiran dengan zaman ini, bukan hanya statik. Mungkin elok juga diadakan event seperti , grafifiti (seni conteng?), persembahan band-band underground (yang mana mempunyai pengikut yang ramai). Apa yang perlu disediakan cuma Drum dan Audio system yang baik (tidak melebihi RM2K pun!). gitar biasanya musician akan bawa sendiri punya… Bising-bising dan alunan muzik boleh menarik crowd/ perhatian orang.
Jika dulu pekedai hanya perlu tunggu dikedai, tapi sekarang pekedai mencari pembeli. Ah!, ape yang aku cerita nih?

Datanglah beramai-ramai wahai penyokong dan peminat dunia seni ‘ini’.
Setidak-tidaknya ia dapat menjamin kewujudannya.

The Creative Multimedia Department of Multimedia Development Corporation (MDeC) is organizing an animation (2D/3D) pitching competition, under the MSC Creative Multimedia Content Initiative (M-CMCI). In this competition, companies or individuals will have to pitch their ideas or pre-production of their animated characters, the story and eventual background information of the show.
OBJECTIVE:

To use this as a content creation platform and to create more quality content that can be showcased or marketed globally. |

The competition will be an avenue to encourage and nurture new talents in turning their Ideas into reality. |

To attract animation content developers to come out with greater ideas and stories |
FIVE winners will be awarded a RM50,000 grant each, to support their trailer or pilot episode. The competition will be opened from 26 April 2006 until 14 June 2006.
